Press Release: Appointment of Underwriters for new UK Commercial Account

Argenta Syndicate Management Limited (“ASML”), a subsidiary of Argenta Holdings Plc, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Lawson and Michael Sharkey as UK Property and Liability Underwriters at Argenta Syndicate 2121, reporting to Active Underwriter Ian Maguire.  James and Michael will take up their new roles on 17^th November 2014 and 16^th February 2015, respectively, once they have completed their contractual obligations to their current employer.

James has nineteen years’ experience in the companies market, Lloyd’s and MGA environments.  Prior to joining his last employer where he was Technical Underwriting Manager, he was a Direct Open Market Property and Liability Underwriter at Amlin Syndicate 2001.

Michael has more than twenty years’ experience in the insurance industry, working predominately for a Lloyd’s Service Company (Evergreen, the service company for Syndicate 318) before joining his current employer in 2011 where he was latterly Development Underwriting Director responsible for the Commercial Combined Account.
