Ian Picton appointed as Energy Underwriter

Argenta Underwriting Asia Pte Ltd (“AUA”), the Singapore-based wholly owned subsidiary of Argenta Holdings plc, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Picton as Energy Underwriter Asia Pacific, reporting to Syndicate 2121’s Principal Underwriter in Asia, Scott Sykes. Ian joins AUA at the end of August 2016.
Ian has over 10 years’ experience in the Energy market across both underwriting and broking disciplines in both the London and Singapore markets. Ian’s most recent role before joining AUA was as Senior Energy Underwriter for XL Catlin Singapore. Prior to his move to Singapore, Ian worked as an Upstream Energy Broker in London for two major broking houses.
