Argenta Holdings Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hannover Re, is an underwriting and insurance services group operating in the Lloyd’s Market.
The Group includes Argenta Syndicate Management Ltd (ASML), a Lloyd’s Managing Agent, Argenta Private Capital Ltd (APCL), a specialist insurance investment adviser providing a range of products and advice to individual and corporate investors at Lloyd’s and Argenta Underwriting Asia Pte Ltd, which includes Argenta Underwriting Australia, an approved cover holder for Argenta’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 2121.
ASML manages the affairs of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2121 and SPA 6134. Syndicate 2121, which benefits from Lloyd’s S&P credit rating of A+, provides both insurance and reinsurance solutions across a broad cross section of classes.
Business is underwritten on a global basis although the Syndicate’s primary markets are the US, the UK and the Asia Pacific region. SPA 6134, set up in 2018, underwrites a quota share reinsurance of business written by Syndicate 2121.
ASML is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
APCL provides private, institutional and corporate investors the opportunity to invest directly in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market. Located on the Lloyd’s Sydney platform, AUA operates as an approved coverholder for Argenta's Lloyd's Syndicate 2121. As such, AUA is able to offer local access to the full range of products available from Argenta’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 2121.
Argenta Underwriting Asia Pte Ltd trades as Argenta Underwriting Australia. Argenta Underwriting Asia Pte Ltd is registered by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as an approved Lloyd's Asia Scheme service company.
